An exciting adventure for children up to 12 years of age as part of the 4th International Operetta Festival! “Musical Superheroes 3D is an educational virtual reality journey that will take young viewers to the Wild West and behind the scenes of the theatre with the help of 360° 3D virtual reality glasses.
Children will explore the adventures of musical superheroes, learn new and interesting things about musical instruments and the world of operetta and musical theatre. They will be introduced to the stories behind musical instruments, the creative possibilities of song, dance, acting and multimedia.
The event will feature soloists from the Operetta Theatre – Kārlis Rūtentāls (Karlsons), Laura Purena-Kancāne (Pauks), actor Matīss Ozols, Adams Vaicis (guitar and voice), Markus Rūtentāls (voice and ukulele) and others.
As the programme’s creator said, “When the world-famous dreamer Jules Verne created 80 Days Around the Globe, he must have thought it would be unbeatable. But Mr Jules never dreamed how dynamically the world would change – one click of a computer button and you, the human child, have access to a world of characters, events and the unknown, the amazing, in a second.”
