The 4th International Operetta Festival culminates with a magnificent Gala Concert at the historic Ikšķile Stage! This spectacular musical event offers a sparkling sense of celebration and the magic of the multifaceted passions of the operetta genre.
The direction of the concert emphasises the characteristic archetypes of operettas and vividly tells the story of each musical number. The programme will feature gems from various genres of musical theatre – excerpts from Franz Lehár’s operettas, Puccini’s opera arias, musical hits, Neapolitan songs and many other popular and less heard, but popular pieces from around the world.
The artists taking part are:
- Soloists of the Academic State Operetta Theatre of Kiev: Olena Arbuzova (soprano), Valeria Tulis (soprano), Volodymyr Odrinsky (tenor), Oleksandr Chuvpilo (tenor)
- Soloists of the Operetta Theatre: Sonora Vaice (soprano), Anta Jankovska (soprano), Jolanta Strikaite (soprano), Ilona Bagel (mezzo-soprano), Nauris Indzeris (baritone), etc.
