A fun festive concert programme in the spirit of the New Year – an exquisite celebration of operetta music. The vital characters of the operettas will shine brightly and the most beautiful melodies will conjure up a truly uplifting festive mood for the audience like a colourful firework.

Programme: hits from the world operetta greats J. Strauss, J. Christmas melodies, as well as a glimpse into the melodies of the upcoming world-famous operetta “The Merry Widow” by F. Lehár.

“The music of the Opereša is made for celebration, joy and fun. We will give operetta lovers both familiar melodies and passionate dances to recharge their batteries until our premieres later this year,” Agija Ozoliņa-Kozlovska, Director of the Latvian Operetta Foundation.

The Latvian Operetta Foundation, combining the efforts of professional artists and the public, is creating an operetta theatre in Latvia with a full company and orchestra, and is looking for a suitable home.
