An informal and warm musical evening is waiting for you during the 4th International Operetta Festival, when the Ikšķile Folk House will host “Musical Conversation over a Cup of Coffee” – a concert-conversation-discussion with a twist.
Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a special atmosphere at the round tables, where sparkling music, personal conversations and probing questions about the diversity of musical theatre will intermingle.
Mariana Bodnar (soprano), Agia Ozolina-Kozlovska (pianist) and other Ukrainian artists will perform at the Kyiv Academic State Operetta Theatre. The young, talented musician Adam Vaicis (guitar) will vibrate the atmosphere of the evening from 18.30.
The concert-conversation-discussion will be moderated by musicologist Inga Stankeviča, while delicious coffee and sweet treats (included in the ticket price) will be provided by the theatre’s cooperation partners – “Fazer”, “E.G.I. veikalu Kafija”, “Ikšķiles saldējums”, Ogre “Sierštelle” and “Gemoss”.
The programme is a musical theatre mosaic of French, English, Ukrainian, Austro-Hungarian, Italian, Spanish and American music.
The event is part of the Musical Theatre Mosaic project and is organised with the co-financing of the European Social Fund project “Support for Social Entrepreneurship” and the state financial institution “Altum”.
