The 2nd International Operetta Festival brought a joyful and loving atmosphere to Ik\u0161\u0137ile, inviting operetta lovers to enjoy high-quality performances in several renovated and well-equipped venues – Ik\u0161\u0137ile Stage, Ik\u0161\u0137ile and T\u012bn\u016b\u017ei Folk Houses, Municipal Hall and Ik\u0161\u0137ile Evangelical Lutheran Church.<\/p>\n\n
After the warm response of the first festival, Artistic Director Agija Ozoli\u0146a-Kozlovska and her team created a broader and richer international programme, revealing the diversity of the operetta genre. Indulis Trapi\u0146\u0161, Chairman of the Ik\u0161\u0137ile Municipality Council, proudly noted that investments in the cultural infrastructure of the municipality are now bearing rich fruit, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy high quality cultural events. <\/p>\n\n
