Clevie

Nico Dostal's romantic operetta that touches the heart

Duration: 165 min
Language: Latvian
Recommended age: 6+
Premiere: 16/02/2014

Clevie’s characters meet on the Bolivian border, where the billionaire Potterton has hired famous Hollywood actors for a romantic film being shot in South America, in the foothills of the Cordillera. Suddenly, Clevie, the name of the lead actress, receives a letter telling her that the shoot is really just a cover for a big and dangerous deal.

A coup d “état takes place in Bolivia. Billionaire Poterton, who owns the use rights to large mines, is now barred from entering the country. He is hatching plans to reclaim his lucrative properties. A humorous American journalist has fallen madly in love with the commander of a women’s border guard unit. The inventor McMackenzie is tirelessly working on ‘one-way’ traffic in the billionaires” wallets…

Clevie: “Miracles happen in human life. You just have to believe, believe and they happen…”
