The Operetta Theatre’s theatrical concert programme “Musique d’amour” (“Music of Love”) with Viennese charm is music with love about love; music that we love and know. “We have longed to meet our audiences, so this time we listened especially to the requests of the Operetta Theatre audience when creating this programme. We will perform the most beautiful operetta arias and duets, excerpts from the audience’s favourite operettas and our concert programmes,” says Agija Ozoliņa-Kozlovska, Artistic Director of the Operetta Theatre.
The programme will include beautiful music from the most popular Operetta Theatre productions and popular operetta literature:
- Excerpts from Franz Lehár’s operettas “The Merry Widow”, “Count von Luxemburg”, “Paganini”, “Beautiful is the World”, “Judith”, “Land of Smiles”
- The puppet Olympia’s aria from Jean-Jacques Offenbach’s opera “The Tales of Hoffmann”
- Excerpts from Carl Zeller’s operetta “The Bird Seller”
- Imre Kalman’s operetta Silva. The Queen of Chardash”
- Karl Milker’s operetta “Gasparone the Robber”
- Johann Strauss operetta “The Gypsy Baron”
- Charles Lecocq’s operetta “Hand on the Heart”
- Imre Kálmans operettas “Silva”, “Maritza”
- Robert Plunkett’s opera The Bells of Corneville

The concert will feature the Orchestra of the Operetta Theatre conducted by Atvars Lakstīgala or pianist Agija Ozoliņa-Kozlovska.
